What i think of our healthcare

Prevention is much much more important than treatment.


But does prevention make a lot of money like treatment? No. Incentive is a powerful weapon; and money is a superb incentive. Therefore, currently, treatment is the preference.

The healthcare industry strives on treatment, but prevention will bring a healthier and happier world. I could shower you with all the science and evidence on how lacking the healthcare is right now, but I wanna focus on the most important thing: prevention.

A perfect world

To-do-list:

1. Sleep well

2. Eat well

3. Exercise

4. Manage stress

5. Dont consume harmful chemicals (intentionally, or not)

Breakdowns:

Sleep well:

1. Simple... 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep

Eat well:

1. Dont consume from ultra-processed food. Essentially, minimize processed food.

2. Do consume whole food. What is whole food?

a. Vegetables

b. Nuts

c. Fruits
d. Whole grains
e. Beans

I know its hard to eliminate animal products... but try your best :). At least dont consume the processed animal products. But how do i  get protein? Beans. Also, minimize unhealthy fats like from fried foods. 

Exercise:

1. Aerobic: get your heart rate up; put some stress to your heart. Walk, run, or at the very least, dont be sedentary. 

2. Resistance: do some resistance training, like weightlifting. Its important for so many reasons.

Manage stress:

Yes, stress is inevitable, but please just manage it. Constant and prolonged stress do lots of harms to your body... Maybe get a support system, do sports, refreshing stuff, or etc. Just manage it :).

Dont consume harmful chemicals:

1. Dont smoke or drink alcohol
2. Dont do harmful drugs

3. Pay attention to your daily household products (for inside and outside of your body)
4. Pay attention to the chemicals surrounding you. Like chemicals in your work place.
